I uploaded a selection of photos that web had taken with the digital photos and then we had a lesson where we were introduced to Photoshop. The poster is made up of several images 2 of which I found on the internet I chose them because they both looked dark and as if there was a story behind them but also because the border for each photo was dark so it would be easier to later use the blur tool to make the who pictures look like one. The other photo I took with a digital camera and then used the de-saturation and the sponge tool to draw the color out of the photo to make it seem more sinister and spookier. I used the magnetic tool to cut the background away from the image of the boy and then sized the photo to the desired size and then put them into the order I wanted with my picture at the front and the two others behind. I then got an image of fire from the internet and used the cut tool to cut out small eye shap pieces of fire and put them in place of the eyes of the boy . and used the magnetic tool again to cut out the letters (dead land) from the film “land of the dead” I then used the blur tool to make the edges of each photos run smoother onto the photo on the layer behind so the complete image looked like one whole image rather then several with sharp edges..
